How To Make Groovin’ Guacamole
What’s up ya’ll!
A few weeks ago I asked everyone on Facebook what kind of recipes you would like to see me make. And my friend Jeff, asked for summer recipes that didn’t require any cooking.
I thought this was a great idea, and immediately knew that my groovin’ guacamole would be the perfect recipe to share with you.
It’s been a long while since I’ve made a video, but I plan on making more videos and posting more frequently so you always have ideas for quick and healthy meals.
If you have any recipes you’d like to see me make, leave me a message on Facebook and I’ll do my best to make a video for you. Enjoy!
Ingredients (all organic, bought from A-Market Natural Food Stores in Manchester, NH):
- 2 ripe Haas avocados
- 1/2 red onion
- juice from 1/2 lime
- juice from 1/2 lemon
- Cilantro
- 1 medium tomato
- Celtic Sea Salt (to your preference)
- Ground black pepper
- Cayenne pepper
- Cumin (the secret ingredient that makes this Groovin’)
Directions:
- Cut and scoop out the avocados into a glass mixing dish.
- Dice the tomato and red onion. Add to the avocados.
- Squeeze the juice from the lemon and the lime into the mixture.
- Chop up a 6-7 sprigs of cilantro.
- Add the Celtic Sea Salt, cayenne pepper, black pepper and cumin.
- Mix with a fork or a spoon.
- Eat with your favorite chips or vegetables. I love this guacamole with Green Mountain Gringo Blue Corn Tortilla Chips.
One of my favorite recipes of all time (I make it for all my dates, too). It’s so easy to make and you don’t have to cook. You can serve it as a side dish to eat with a meal, with your favorite veggies like cucumbers or carrots, or as a dish to take to a party. The cumin and the cayenne pepper are my secret ingredients (although, not so secret anymore) that make this guacamole groovin’.I use all organic ingredients, which I pick up from A-Market Natural Foods stores in Manchester, NH.

These are my favorite chips of all time! They are super crunchy, not too salty, gluten-free AND organic! They don’t break easily which makes them great dipping chips. I feel that I need to warn you…that they are VERY addictive, so be careful!
Green Mountain Gringo also makes some pretty spectacular salsas as well. You can check out all of their products here at their website: http://www.greenmountaingringo.com/
